DO I REALLY NEED A HOME INSPECTION

     For most people the investment in a home is the biggest purchase they will make in their life.  So why not get the most information about the property you can get.  The average cost of a home inspection is $300 to $350 (depending on the square footage of the house). 

     The best case scenario, you get a home inspection and we basically find no issues.  You have peace of mind about your purchase and you also have a thorough inspection report on your house. 

     Then let's say we find a couple of minor issues.  You negotiate with the seller and get them fixed . You have propably got the cost of your inspection paid for, got the issues fixed and still have a thorough report on your entire house. 

     And what if you decide not to get a home inspection. Then you find something that will cost you $1,000 or even up to $15,000 to get fixed after you make the purchase.  That money you thought you saved by not getting an inspection, is pretty cheap compared to what it will cost you to fix the repairs .  But if you had the home inspection and the report that comes with it, you would have some negotiating power with the seller.

     Inspectors are not perfect but we do our best to show you on the report the condition of the property at the time of the inspection.
